Product description:

IDH1 and IDH2 mutations are common in glioblastoma. This dual iDDS probe assay detects the 2 most common oncogenic mutations of IDH2 (R172K, R172M), which account for ~84% of known IDH2 mutations and ~4% of all IDH1 + IDH2 mutations combined. This assay contains 2 iDDS probe/antiprobe pairs and flanking primers. The iDDS probe for the R172K mutant is labeled for detection in the HEX channel, while the R172M mutant probe is labeled for detection in the ROX channel. The excess of matching quencher-labeled antiprobes prevents false-positive detection of wild type IDH2 or signaling in the absence of the intended targets.

Kodiak Taq HotStart Master Mix:

GeneTAG is offering a preferred enzyme master mix that is sold to our probe kit customers. However, other qPCR Taq enzymes are suitable for our probes.
