Product description:

IDH1 and IDH2 mutations are common in glioblastoma. This iDDS probe assay detects the 2 most common oncogenic IDH1 mutations (R132H, R132C), which account for ~92% of known IDH1 mutations and ~88% of all IDH1+IDH2 mutations combined. This assay contains 2 iDDS probe/antiprobe pairs and flanking primers. The iDDS probe for the R132H mutant is labeled for detection in the HEX channel, while the R132C mutant probe is labeled for detection in the ROX channel. The excess matching quencher-labeled antiprobes prevent false-positive detection of wild type IDH1 or signaling in the absence of the intended targets.

Kodiak Taq HotStart Master Mix:

GeneTAG is offering a preferred enzyme master mix that is sold separately to our probe kit customers. However, other qPCR Taq enzymes are suitable for our probes.
